Did You Know Strawberries are the Only Fruit...?

Did you know strawberries are the only fruit to wear their seeds on the outside?

I learned that last night while waiting for our food at Chili's. I don't know if it is really true, but that is what the trivia question said. We debated if raspberries and/or blackberries have thier seeds on the outside, but my husband says no, they are on the inside. So, for now, we think that strawberries are the only fruit with seeds on the outside.

Interesting. I had never thought about that before, but I think it's true. Now if I only understood the strategy of the strawberry that makes it do that!

well, it made for interesting dinner table debate anyway! I don't know!

my daughter knew a guy that was allergic to strawberries, but as long as he cut the seeds off the outside, he could eat them!
