I found an easy recipe at about.com for making my own cake mix . It is really delicious and easy to mix up and keep on hand in the freezer. After mixing this cake up and baking it, let it cool completely. Then cover it with whipped cream. Layer it with fresh, chopped strawberries.
For a variation, you can slice the cake in half lengthwise to make it into two thinner layers, cover with whipped cream, strawberries, put the other half of the cake on, repeat cream and berry layers. Top with more chopped berris. Keep in the fridge. Delicious, refreshing dessert.
