Did You Know About Jefferson's Dig?

Did you know about Jefferson's Dig?

This area, now known as Big Bone Lick State Park, is replicated with bones discovered upon William Clark's return from exploring the Western US. In a large salt marsh in Kentucky, Clark's crew dug up thousands of specimens and had them shipped to Jefferson in the White House. Among these were rib bones so large that pioneer Robert McAfee used them for tent poles.

Yes..my kids had a great day too. Macy didn't even cry. I did good till I got home and it was empty and quiet! I missed all the noise. I know that sounds strange because there are days when I need the quiet but yesterday I was sad it was quiet. Does that make sense? :)

I'm glad your baby had a good day. I was thinking about him and praying for him as well.

Our babies are growing up....

thanks heather. this afternoon was not as positive and then we had to shop for school supplies, and the stores are putting them up already and/or are out of them (HS students get their supply lists the first couple days of school, not before)
