Did You Know What Sea Monkeys Really Are?

Did You Know What Sea Monkeys Really Are? They are really a kind of brine shrimp. They live in a state of suspended animation. They can grow to be about one-half to three-fourths of an inch long.

They apparantly got their name from a clever marketing expert. They do have tails like monkies, and supposedly have playful behavior. (If you are in suspended animation, how do you behave playfully?)

They do not grow up to look like their comic book alter-egos.
