Did You Know That Barney Fife was Andy Taylor's Cousin?

Did you know that Barney Fife and Andy Taylor were cousins? I just watched the first couple of episodes from The Andy Griffith Show. I saw that Barney and Andy were cousins. I did not know that before.

I saw where Aunt Bea came to live with Andy and Opie. Opie sure was little when the show started. Cute too!
