Just get your plunger and place it over the drain hole in the toilet. Be sure that you are sealing off the suction. Pump the plunger up and down a couple of inches without breaking the suction. Pump it pretty quickly and firmly. If it doesn't work, try it a little faster and harder.
That's it. It's that simple. This will save time. You don't have to wait for your husband or anyone else to come home and get to this. It is easy to do. A skill everyone should learn.
