I came across a vendor today at the Houston Livestock Show that I really want to brag about. My nephews were getting low on funds and wanted a snack. The girls were buying candy and the boys thought this would be a good way to spend their last couple of dollars. Like everything else today, all the snacks were overpriced. But as we checked out the offerings at Granny's Cheesecake and More stall, the younger boy spotted the chocolate covered strawberries and marshmallows on a stick. They were all priced higher than what he had. But "Granny" offered to make him a half stick of the strawberries so that he could afford it. He jumped on it and scarfed down his two chocolate covered strawberries. Well, the older boy decided to ask "Granny" if she would do a half stick of marshmallows for him. She agreed and he even let little brother have a bite! Granny said she will only make these half stick offers available to the kids, and we all appreciated it! If you have some youngsters in tow at the Livestock Show, stop by and see if you can enjoy some of the treats Granny's Cheesecake and More has to offer!

"Granny", besides being pretty cool, knows a lot about marketing! She'll do OK!
on my youngest nephew's field trip journal, he wrote that his favorite part was the chocolate strawberries!!
