Did You Know How Some Mammals Teach Their Young?

Did you know how some mammals teach their young?

Today I was reading a National Geographic Magazine while waiting at the doctor. I came across two very interesting articles, not related, but they both touched on how certain mammals teach their young about hunting and killing prey. I read about a mother leopard who brought her young daughter a live impala. The baby didn't know what to do with it, but mamma soon taught her how to kill the impala for food.

Another article talked about how meerkats gradually teach their young to kill for food. First, dead animals are brought to the baby meerkats to eat. Later, they will bring live but wounded animals (scorpians have their tails removed.) By three months, the baby meerkats are brought live animals to kill for their own food.
