It has been pretty warm here, though we did have a couple days of cooler weather. But for the most part, everyone is gearing up for spring. When I walked out the other day, I found a sign that spring is pretty much here. I took a close up picture to share with you.

I HATE grasshoppers. Mostly because they jump and move too quickly for me to keep up with where they are and where I should be to stay away from them. I'm impressed you got so close to it. Eww.
Isn't that a Katydid? We don't see them here until mid to late summer! Cool pictures!
we were visiting friends in Gonzales one year and with every step, grasshoppers were jumping in every direction! I am sure you would have HATED that Daesha! :)

hm, I sure it was a grasshopper Montucky, but I am not an insect girl. I figured this is something you would not see for a while!
