Did You Know About a Local Gas Station's New Sign?

Did you know about a local gas station's new sign?

As I pulled out of the gym this morning, I saw the gas station at the grocery store. Each time I go past, I check the newest price. Today I noticed they have replaced their sign with a new digital sign. I guess that way it is a lot easier to update the price daily!

A "sign" of the times (pun intended). Probably a sad necessity, but also an electronic monument to the greed that has pushed up the prices to an artificial level. If you think about it, the electricity used for the sign only compounds the problem.

ha ha, had not thought of that (the electricity used for the sign). indeed a sign of the times! my son does not think the prices will really go much higher (we have heard they may peak out about 8$per gallon) so we'll see. I think they will push it as far as they possibly can. we live in such a society/way that it is very difficult to NOT drive many places...
