I hadn't thought about it til yesterday. I was in the post office and saw an ad to win a trip to Los Angeles for the 30th anniversary of Star Wars. I cannot believe it's been thirty years since that movie came out and impacted society the way it did.
Star Wars was the first movie my sister and I went to the theater to see without our parents. Of course, this was only after seeing it with our parents.
We grew up loving Star Wars. My sister had every toy made at the time. Now, thirty years later, my kids really love Star Wars.
What an enduring tradition.
