Did you know about online higher education?
It is easy to see the need for greater education in today's world, but sometimes trying to juggle all of life's demands while pursuing an education can be more than a little difficult. Online universities like Capella are trying to make things easier in that aspect. They are an accredited online university, serving the public since 1993. They have just opened up some new programs, many which are exciting new services in certain areas. They are offering some great classes on special education, which are not easily found. They are offering some great new courses on public safety, making their school one of the few online schools to offer a BS, MS and PhD in public safety. Their eight new programs are now open for enrollment. The new offerings are in the areas of education, psychology, public safety, business, and information technology.

Did You Know About Appreciative Coaching?
Did you know about Appreciative Coaching?
It seems that appreciative coaching would not be something that would have to be taught, but in today’s society, it seems that fewer and fewer people know just how to appreciate themselves, much less the people around them and who work for them. Recently, Sara Orem, a faculty member of Capella University online School of Business and Technology, has co-authored the book "Appreciative Coaching: A Positive Process For Change".
This approach helps individuals and organizations to flourish when focused on human ideals, achievements and best practices. Appreciative coaching uses mindful questions and tools to help strengthen individuals and to bring about positive changes. The format guides the reader through four stages-discovery, dream, design and destiny.
Readers will be inspired to appreciate themselves and their futures, and will become empowered over themselves and their future. This book is written for coaches of managers, executives, and others who work one-on-one with people. The ideas in this book will influence and creates positive change
