Living in South Texas means Tex Mex food is almost considered a staple. I came across a nice black bean salsa recipe and thought it would make great gifts for friends and my husband's secretaries. I adjusted the recipe to make it even easier to mix up. I love how it turned out and should be a nice switch to banana or pumpkin bread!

As a result of all the years I spent in Arizona, I still love Mexican foods and Southwest type food, but I have not see this. It looks really good. Was that recipe hard to come by?
