I know very little about it. I have done alright inserting paid ads and even made a little with an affiliate program. But there is someone who has really taken off in their blogging for money efforts, and she shares them regularly online for anyone willing to take the time to learn from her advice.

Did You Know Saving Blog Posts as Drafts May Result in Rejected Ad Opportunities?
Did you know saving blog posts as drafts may result in rejected ad opportunities?
Just recently I began having trouble with receiving rejection notices on several of my paid blog posts. I could not figure out why. After conversing with someone a payperpost, I think I have finally figured it out. I often write several posts at one time and save them as drafts for future use. This way I have a post ready when I am short on time, and it helps me to remember just what I want to say. But then I began to have several rejections (though I've been saving drafts for a while.) Come to find out, this can be considered as "time shifting" and is not accepted by paid blogging sites like payperpost. So to any bloggers who make money blogging and like to save posts as drafts, you may want to re-consider that practice.

Did You Know About My Blogging Challenge?
Did you know about my blogging challenge?
Often in blogging communities, there are blog challenges issued. I have never issued a challenge to other bloggers before, until now. At a blogging communati that I am a part of, I recently issued this challenge to all bloggers who are blogging for money.
I have been blessed to have made a little more than I expected in my first year blogging for money. It has been fun and fairly easy. But I wanted to do something with my money, something that would make a difference for someone else. Something out of the ordinary, besides what I normally give.
So this year, I began looking for new ways to give. I am issuing this same challenge to all bloggers who make money with their blogs. Give a little something more than you would normally give at this time of year. Find a new place to donate, or add a little extra to your regular giving. And please, share the places you are donating to. No need to disclose the amount you are giving, but let us all in on the great organizations, causes, establishments that are out there helping spread the love.
And for those of you who want to join who are not making money blogging, check out what my friend Merry has to say about it . You can still join in by spreading love, peace and good will to your fellow man.
All comments and posts related to this are appreciated. Let us all help pitch in a little something, and see what a difference we can all make together!

Did You Know Getting Paid to Blog is So Easy a Child Can Do It?
Did you know getting paid to blog is so easy a child can do it?
My daughter has a blog that she has not written in for some time. She just got motivated this weekend to start revising it. It is a cute blog about life in general from a kid's perspective. She may write some things about what is going on in her world, or things related to upcoming holidays and more often, she posts her school assignments.
We have been telling her how easy it is to make money blogging. Mostly she just laughs at me. Recently, I accepted an opportunity for 200 words telling a story about "my dog". It paid $8.50. I told my daughter that if she wrote it and posted it on my blog then I would give her the money. She hesitated at first, thinking 200 words would be too much. By the time she finished the story , it was almost 300 words!
She has decided that she can hopefully get her blog updated and one day be accepting job opportunities to post ads on her blog and make some money for herself!

I have been getting paid for blogging for 8 months now. I recently joined a new blog ad company, PayU2Blog . It is run a little differently than some of the other companies I've written ads for. You have to check the site for opportunities, but the opportunities are chosen for you, assigned to you. You must accept each opportunity, no picking and choosing. Each ad is worth $5 upon acceptance and are required to have a minimum of 60 words.

Did You Know I Made More Than Money With PayPerPost?
Did you know I made more than money with PayPerPost?
Last week, when I returned home from an out of town trip, the little girl across the street brought me my mail. She carried in a large box and I couldn't wait to see what it contained. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a box from PayPerPost.
When I opened it, I remembered a post I had done for withcharacterkids.com . I was pleased to find in this box a really great diaper bag. This bag is VERY nice! My neice who was visiting at the time said "That doesn't look like a diaper bag. That is nice!"
I was also thrilled to receive a T shirt from PayPerPost.
Not only did I make money writing for the sponser, I was doubly repaid with the great gifts!

Now they are providing a code for disclosure statements as well as a direct way for advertisers to contact the blogger.
All you have to do is click on the PayPerPost tools link and you will be provided the code to insert into your blog. Then, you will increase your chances on advertising opportunities. First, your disclosure badge will allow advertisers to display their own content related to the ad. Some advertisers will require this feature and some opportunities will only be accepted if they contain this badge. The direct contact link will be of great advantage to some bloggers. This allows the advertiser to directly contact you if s/he thinks that your blog or writing style would be perfect for their ads. He/she just may contact you directly with an opportunity!

I've been blogging for over a year, just for the fun of it. Then I learned that in addition to having fun blogging, I could make a few bucks on the side, just for doing what I was already doing! It is easy!
I signed up with PayPerPost at the end of February. I love how easy it is. I can choose opportunities available to me. I can write whatever I want about most of the ads, of course, staying within the given guidelines. Then I post the blog, submit it to PayPerPost, and they let me know if it is accepted.
What I like best about PayPerPost blog reviews is the ease, the ability to check in anytime day or night, and the quick response. I also like that if a post is rejected, they will allow you fix it and re-submit it for approval. And of course, I love the money. So far, I've been paid close to $500. I am saving my money to buy Disney World tickets for our family next year!
