I know very little about it. I have done alright inserting paid ads and even made a little with an affiliate program. But there is someone who has really taken off in their blogging for money efforts, and she shares them regularly online for anyone willing to take the time to learn from her advice.

Did You Know About Social Spark?
Did you know about Social Spark?
I have heard of this before but not researched it much. I just learned that SocialSparkis now live. Social Spark is an innovation of the IZEA company. It is a place to allow bloggers and advertisers to come together for mutual benefit. The bloggers can choose to place display ads on their blog or write sponsored content. Advertisers can target blogs based on content and decide which blogs to sponsor, giving them increased traffic and potential customers, while creating buzz and exposure for themselves and their products.
While browsing through some of the profiles, I came across the "mom with the brownies". Of course the name caught my attention, so I took a look. This looks like someone whose blog I want to read! She is a homeschooling mother looking for frugal ways to do things. That is a kindred spirit!
In looking at whether I will utilize Social Spark on my blogs, I realized that I had heard some negative feedback from another source about the pop up ad banners from this site. I know that can get annoying. I have not dealt with it yet myself, so I am not 100% sure just what my source is talking about, but perhaps it is something IZEA will consider in the future.

Did You Know Saving Blog Posts as Drafts May Result in Rejected Ad Opportunities?
Did you know saving blog posts as drafts may result in rejected ad opportunities?
Just recently I began having trouble with receiving rejection notices on several of my paid blog posts. I could not figure out why. After conversing with someone a payperpost, I think I have finally figured it out. I often write several posts at one time and save them as drafts for future use. This way I have a post ready when I am short on time, and it helps me to remember just what I want to say. But then I began to have several rejections (though I've been saving drafts for a while.) Come to find out, this can be considered as "time shifting" and is not accepted by paid blogging sites like payperpost. So to any bloggers who make money blogging and like to save posts as drafts, you may want to re-consider that practice.

Did You Know Getting Paid to Blog is So Easy a Child Can Do It?
Did you know getting paid to blog is so easy a child can do it?
My daughter has a blog that she has not written in for some time. She just got motivated this weekend to start revising it. It is a cute blog about life in general from a kid's perspective. She may write some things about what is going on in her world, or things related to upcoming holidays and more often, she posts her school assignments.
We have been telling her how easy it is to make money blogging. Mostly she just laughs at me. Recently, I accepted an opportunity for 200 words telling a story about "my dog". It paid $8.50. I told my daughter that if she wrote it and posted it on my blog then I would give her the money. She hesitated at first, thinking 200 words would be too much. By the time she finished the story , it was almost 300 words!
She has decided that she can hopefully get her blog updated and one day be accepting job opportunities to post ads on her blog and make some money for herself!

Did You Know What I Love About Blogging For Money?
Did you know what I love about blogging for money?
I've been blogging for a year and a half now. Only this year did I start blogging for money.
Obviously, my very favorite thing is the money. I've also been learning how to improve my blog. I enjoy finding other bloggers to read. I've learned a lot of unique things I may never have otherwise researched. I love seeing my PayPal account grow. I am finally realizing my dream of buying Disney tickets for my family. I enjoy reading all the other blog. It has been great linking to other blogs and having them link to me. I like not having to leave home to make some money. Ok, the best thing is the money!
