I had just received a large order that we had made for a summer program at our church. One of the items I had mis-ordered. With it being my mistake, I wasn't sure how easy it would be to return it. But I went ahead and made the call.
First of all, I could easily understand the phone operator, and she could understand me. I told her what had happened and she said "no problem". Because this was a small item, costing less than $5, it was not cost effective to return it. Instead she said they would go ahead and credit the account and asked that I just please donate the item to a local charity. Wow! That was easy!
