Did you know about Dominica?

This small island in the Caribbean is located in the West Indies between Martinique and Guadalupe. It is becoming a prized tour destination. Some of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie was filmed in Dominica. I have been to Dominica a couple of times. I am sure that much has changed now. Dominica is not associated with the Dominican Republic-to which I've never been. (I guess if one day I do make it to the DR I can check out the punta cana hotels) Dominica is its own commonwealth and is a proud island country that is called the Nature Island of the Caribbean.

Did you know Pirates of the Caribbean opened today?

Of course if you've seen any of the advertising, you know that it hit theaters today. I've not even seen the second one, though my husband took my son last year to the midnight showing of it the night it was released. I saw the first one. It was alright, but not something that really drew me back again for the second one. I may yet see the second one, as it was filmed in Dominica. That would be the only real drawing point for me.
